At Eficio, we have been passionately interested in artificial intelligence (AI) for a long time. In 2022, we authored a white paper on the organizational and human aspects of implementing AI within organizations. The arrival of CHATgpt in 2023 generated growing enthusiasm for the potential of AI. We delved into the features of CHATgpt in detail and tested its capabilities. With the introduction of Microsoft 365 Copilot, we attempted to harness the possibilities of this technology. Copilot has opened new perspectives for us at Eficio, combining the features of GPT with a more seamless integration into our daily workflow.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A Promising Initial Impression<\/span><\/h3>

From the outset, we were impressed by Copilot’s capabilities. We saw the potential for it to increase our efficiency and enhance our AI practices. As experts in conversational AI, we strive to master cutting-edge tools to better serve our clients. Copilot, with its predictive text generation (GPT) features, including CHATgpt, opened up exciting new possibilities for us at Eficio.<\/span><\/p>

Use of Copilot in Microsoft 365<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>

Over the past few weeks, we’ve integrated Copilot into our daily use of Microsoft 365. Our initial goal was to leverage it during our Teams meetings to summarize discussions, ask relevant questions, and create task lists. We also explored Copilot’s capabilities as a conversational assistant and its integration with our SharePoint system.<\/span><\/p>

A Positive Initial Impression, with Ongoing Improvements<\/span><\/h3>

Our experience with Copilot in Teams has been generally positive, but we acknowledge that there’s work to be done to refine the tool. The notes taken during meetings proved effective, and Copilot delivered on its promises. It proved to be an excellent tool for summarizing meetings, asking relevant questions, and creating task lists, greatly contributing to our productivity. However, we also encountered some integration and fluidity challenges. Adjustments were needed to achieve the desired results, indicating that improvements are still needed to make the experience smoother.<\/span><\/p>

Copilot as a Conversational Assistant<\/span><\/h3>

We also used Copilot as a conversational assistant in Teams. It primarily responds using GPT features. Although it’s still early to make a thorough comparison with CHATgpt, we were pleasantly surprised by Copilot’s capabilities as a conversational assistant. It was able to answer our questions and provide relevant information. However, we also noted some inconsistencies and incorrect responses, highlighting the need to improve the tool’s reliability and accuracy.<\/span><\/p>

Data Exploitation in SharePoint<\/span><\/h3>

One impressive feature of Copilot for us at Eficio is its ability to leverage data from SharePoint. Copilot can access all the data we’re entitled to, making it an intelligent search engine. It has the ability to provide detailed information by searching for specific data, such as consultant hourly rates or contract details. However, we noticed that the relevance of the results provided by Copilot may vary, emphasizing the need to continue improving the tool for more accurate and consistent results.<\/span><\/p>

Integration with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint<\/span><\/h3>

Copilot can also be used with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Although we haven’t explored all the features in detail yet, we were able to use Copilot to provide meeting notes to PowerPoint to create presentations. However, we found that the integration was not always smooth, and adjustments had to be made to achieve the desired results. Despite this, the results obtained were interesting.<\/span><\/p>

In conclusion, Microsoft 365 Copilot offers promising features to enhance efficiency and productivity at Eficio. We found it particularly useful for summarizing meetings, asking relevant questions, and creating task lists. Furthermore, its integration with SharePoint and Microsoft Office applications offers exciting possibilities for leveraging data and optimizing our work.<\/span><\/p>

However, it’s important to note that Copilot is not yet perfectly mature, and improvements are needed to enhance its integration and fluidity. We encountered some challenges and inconsistencies in its use, highlighting the need to continue developing and refining the tool.<\/span><\/p>

Despite these limitations, we are confident that Copilot has tremendous potential to enhance our AI practices and bolster our efficiency. We look forward to tracking Microsoft’s progress in developing this technology and exploring future enhancements that may be made to Copilot.<\/span><\/p>
